WOO! A SPACE REDNECKS tshirt is now at the Merch Store just Click ----> HERE Space Rednecks is a Humor comic strip title that I've been doing for a while now. It's basically "What if Houston, Mississippi had it's own space program?" type of thought process. I've been doing SPACE REDNECS for over twenty years now. I first published it in the BUBBAWORLD COMIX monthly paper that I did for four years in central Mississippi. Then it and the other titles moved to the website. I was drawing it even before , just like the other titles, till I figured out what I would do with them. Now they are in the SUNDAY FUNNIES each week and now on a T-shirt. Woo! I plan to make t-shirts for all the other titles too. Have a Bubbatastic day all bodies. |

I've recently been reading the Looney Tunes cross over with DC Comics and have been enjoying the mess out of it. The cool thing is they actually come up with some cool plots to make the cross overs work better than I thought. I'm not gonna tell ya what they are about but just mention who got crossed over with who. Buggs Bunny and the Legion of Super Heroes, Martian Manhunter and Marvin the Martian, Jonah Hex and Yosemite Sam ( with Foghorn Leghorn ) , Wonder Woman and The Tazmanian Devil, Lobo and the Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote, and Batman and Elmer Fudd. There are more but this is all that I've read this week so far. I've been reading it on COMIXOLOGY. Think "Netflix of Comics".
I've had the DC UNIVERSE subscription since it started and not only have I enjoyed the original shows it has but it has a ton of comics to read. So here are some suggestions of stuff to read from DC either thru DC UNIVERSE or go to your local comic shop and find some trades of them.
I've got the DC UNIVERSE right after it became available. I've actually have had a little more time to explore it a bit. Yesterday and today I've gotten into the Rebirth Batman series... and gotten a bit engrossed in it. Couldn't put it down... although it's on the computer screen and I actually couldn't hold it to begin with. I've gotten more accustomed to reading digital copies of comics lately I have. I probably read more digital versions of comics than print now.
When I first got DC UNIVERSE it sortof upset me that there weren't more of their comics there but then I realized... if they were I didn't have time to read them all at once. So they keep adding and I keep finding something more to read. All I know is after reading this rebirth first five issues that I want to check out more. I've been more into independent comics over the last few years but recently because of this may be getting back into DC a little more. |
