Hey True Believers, I'm trying something a bit different. Don't fret, Rosco isn't gone. When he starts back it may be once a week. The rest of the time it will be just gag comics. These next two I just drew in me sketch book with a regular pen on my lunch break. I've got to remember to bring a sharpie wif me for the inking. By drawing them each day and simpler comics I may get to update even more. Also if you follow me on the Instagram you'll get to see them earlier too. It's actually cool the way I'm just drawing them in the sketch book I carry wif me all the time. Makes it a bit more mobile. Have a bubbatastic day, yall.
Dawn of Time... a comic about Redneck Cavemen. It's my third title to create. It started as a way to just exercise the caveman comic ideas I had been having out of my head. They just never stopped. It was around this time I decided to come up with an umbrella name for all of the comics I was doing.... thus... BUBBAWORLD COMIX.
It's a NEW Mississippi Swamp Dragons comic strip and then it will be back to Rosco, Woo!
Herman took a '68 Buick Skylark years ago and converted it to a hovercraft. I use to drive a '68 Buick Skylark for around 16 or so years. The first 15 years of that car was driven by my Grandma before I got it. We sold it still running when the car was in it's 30's. I miss that car. It will always be my favorite car.
MISSISSIPPI SWAMP DRAGONS is centered around Herman the Psychotic Chicken but you do occasionally get to see the two Swamp Dragons he lives with. Here's one now. This one is Bubba, he has the ascot tie. Bill has the necktie and goatee.
Melvin the Mailman is a character that actually crosses over into the other titles. Here's a couple of strips with him in them. They go together as you will see.
At the beginning of making comics I would scale them for newspapers in case I ever got in them. Later after I realized I was gonna be mainly self publishing I decided to make my own scale.
Instead of one tier for weekdays and two tiers for Sundays I made them all the same size whether it was one tier or two tiers or even just one panel.
