Herman took a '68 Buick Skylark years ago and converted it to a hovercraft. I use to drive a '68 Buick Skylark for around 16 or so years. The first 15 years of that car was driven by my Grandma before I got it. We sold it still running when the car was in it's 30's. I miss that car. It will always be my favorite car.
It's a NEW Mississippi Swamp Dragons comic strip and then it will be back to Rosco, Woo!

MISSISSIPPI SWAMP DRAGONS is centered around Herman the Psychotic Chicken but you do occasionally get to see the two Swamp Dragons he lives with. Here's one now. This one is Bubba, he has the ascot tie. Bill has the necktie and goatee. Melvin the Mailman is a character that actually crosses over into the other titles. Here's a couple of strips with him in them. They go together as you will see.
At the beginning of making comics I would scale them for newspapers in case I ever got in them. Later after I realized I was gonna be mainly self publishing I decided to make my own scale.
Instead of one tier for weekdays and two tiers for Sundays I made them all the same size whether it was one tier or two tiers or even just one panel. Hello my Nerdlings. We're gonna have a QUICK APPLIANCE REPAIR flashback week. And we will have a new strip on top with a really older strip on the bottom... all week, each day. Monday thru Friday. They are Jasper and Corky Quick and they are two brothers that work for their Dad in the Family appliance repair business. Just because my brother and myself worked for our Dad in the family appliance repair business doesn't mean this strip is based or inspired by us... it doesn't me it isn't either ... well, you can figure it out.
The very first GOING BATTTY comic featuring Merlin the bat and Doc the Mad Scientist. Ironically I created this comic on Halloween in 1995.... it was a Tuesday I believe. I was trying to design a bat puppet for a mad scientist costume ( for the next year not that day ) that could sit on a fake arm with your real arm sticking thru the lab coat to work the bat puppet. After drawing it on some cardboard I realized this would be a cool comic strip character. Later that day I came up with the rest of the cast.... except for Buttercup the lab assistant ... he came later. This is the last GOING BATTY comic strip to ever appear.... it won't be the last ever, just the last one at the moment. 24 years in between the two. I've given it a more of a Steampunk look also.
CAPN' GEEZER is the fourth strip title I've ever done. It's about a time traveler and his companions. For the past strips I chose two that go together and were from the first seven or so strips. Now here's a strip that has never appeared in print anywhere before. Very similar Ideas that are decades apart.
